Living life on a boat

Well what a way to end summer vacation, on a HOUSEBOAT it was wonderful, Mommy, Daddy took us for a week, we swam, Hannah learned how to do a "starfish" that's when you can float on your back with no life jacket or assistance from anyone else! Joshua loved the sound of the motor, and slept well! Daddy waked boarded a lot! even went to a lesson with friends.. But Daddy said he was getting to old to do that any more, and hurt his shoulder pretty badly, said he could't change diapers for a few weeks... Mommy made him do it any ways.  we had Jason and Diane, Austin and Parker Knibb stay with us. Auntie Diane made the BEST pancakes EVER just don't tell mommy we said that.  Also a friend named Alan was with us. We sure liked all those guys to play with.  Grandma and Auntie Vava came on Monday and stayed with us until Friday, then we all had to pack up and go home, We were not to excited about that.  But Mommy and Daddy said that we still had some fun things to do.  We drove to a little town called Falkland in British Columbia and met Grandma's brother Mogens and his wife Irene. THEY HAVE MULES!! and we could leave it at that but.. wouldn't you like to hear about our adventures there.  Mommy says it is a little piece of heaven, and if heaven is like that then we want to go there someday too!  There are humming birds that dive your head, there are two kitties. Tommy Girl and Emma, there are a bunch of cows (all have names) and the mules; wow the mules         they were the big favorite Hannah went for two long rides, and Josh sat on one, her name is Maize, she is the mule that Uncle Mogens takes to Spruce Meadows, and Jessie was the other one that we fell in love with.  We also went for walks down to a creek that ran through the other mules pasture, it was beautiful.  We played in the water which was quite chilly but in the summer heat felt wonderful.  The cats would come for walks with us, Oh and can't forget Riley the pooch she is blind and deaf, but a sweet pooch none the less.

anyways lots of fun adventures, now we are home.  Daddy is getting ready for harvest so we do not see as much of him now, but Mommy walks us up to the farm ( we sit in the stroller and encourage her up the hills) and see Daddy for supper.
